Another Delay Won’t Stop 2009 From Being One Of The Best Years Of Gaming.

With the recent announcement of the delay of Capcom’s Dark Void, gamer’s are becoming more pessimistic and skeptical on what games will and won’t be released this year. As a gamer, it has become very frustrating and disappointing to learn that the most anticipated games are being held back like 20 year old senior in high school(i.e.,Splinter Cell: Conviction, Heavy Rain, etc..,). We here at the ThEvolution Network agree that this is and still will be a great year for gaming, regardless of all the disappointing delays.
Here are a few reasons why this has and is still a good year for gaming:
Killzone 2

Guerrila games has redefined the FPS genre with their release of the sequal, Killzone 2. Even though it did not sale as expected, Killzone 2 has delivered on all cylinders.
Infamous

Prior to inFamous, the only superhero games we had to look forward to were movie based video games (I.e., Ironman, The Hulk). Unfortunately, these games did nothing but become glorified DLC. With the surprise excellence of Infamous, this was definitely a sucker punch to the gaming industry (pun intended).
Batman: Arkham Asylum

Despite an early delay, Arkham Asylum is set to destroy sales charts with the help of amazing graphics and gameplay. Thanks to the good people at Rocksteady and Eidos, the caped crusader’s next adventure with be nothing less than spectacular.
Madden ‘10:

EA sports has been at the center of criticism for the slow evolution of the Madden Franchise. With lead designer Ian Cummings spearheading the development of Madden ‘10, EA has definitely given gamers a reason to “fight for every yard”
Uncharted 2

After a great showing and winning tons of awards at E3 2009, Uncharted 2 is the most (if not the number one) anticipated game of 2009.
Modern Warfare 2

Speaks for itself.
Come on gamers, let us hold our heads up high for we have had and still have much to look forward to this year.
