It appears publisher EA is sparring no expense in order to bring the vision of Visceral Games new title, DANTE’S INFERNO to fruition. We’ve shown an array of Dante’s Inferno footage and this latest video interview shown is another example of the over-the-top gameplay experience users cannot wait to have.

According to Joystiq, Metro 2033 is in development for PC and Xbox 360 and based on a novel by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Ukrainian developer 4A Games’ Metro 2033 is set in the subways of a ruined Moscow. You play Artyom, a young man who has never ventured outside of the Vault “Metro Station-City” to which he is loyal. His adventure takes him around the Metro system, home of other factions (some of which are hostile), and to the inhospitable above-ground world.

While in New York we recently ran into NBA All-Star Shaquille O’Neal. My man Shaq was very approachable and definitely down-to-earth. He kept us entertained with his classic Shaquille wit as he waited for a mutual friend, international super-model Memphis Coy.

Interestingly enough, we just met with Memphis Coy as he was promoting an upcoming stage play in Dallas entitled, “The Mythical Memphis Coy: Or Just Another Metrosexual?”. According to Superman, superstardom is going to the super-models head.

This all new trailer displays for the first time the user perspective of the ALIEN as he dispatches both marines and Predators with no prejudice. Playing as the mindless kill everything in their path ALIEN, we initially weren’t interested in playing as the ALIEN, however after seeing the ALIEN in action from the user perspective we are definitely inclined to experience all sides of the playing field.

Truthfully we can’t see how the human marines can even stand a chance against such odds. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

EA has just announced the release dates for Mass Effect 2 in North American and Europe. Releases will be available on January 26 and 29, 2010, respectively. As some of you may already know the GameStop pre-order bonus in the U.S. will include:

The M-90 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon – “Generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass.”

Terminus Armor – “Increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo.”

MASS EFFECT 2 will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PC.

With the Left 4 Dead 2 demo coming to everyone November 10 on both Xbox 360 and PC, Valve has just announced that users will be able to get their hands on the demo on October 27 just by pre-ordering the game.

The Left 4 Dead 2 demo will include gameplay from The Parish campaign, set in the New Orleans’ French Quarter. The demo will let one to four players game together online or locally on both the Xbox 360 and PC versions. The Xbox 360 version of the game will include split-screen mode. The demo will also feature all of the new boss infected zombies and melee weapons found in the full game. -  KOTAKU

With Left 4 Dead 2 offering what we would consider an overall better experience than the first game, this early copy of the demo is definitely worth it for Left 4 Dead 2 enthusiasts.

After experiencing some of the most impressive technical presentations in gaming from games like KILLZONE 2, GEARS OF WAR 2, and now UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves, it is hard to believe that we could actually see games surpass these powerhouse titles in the extremely not-so-distant future.

The new CryENGINE 3 by CryTek is very scary. The ability to control high-end CG characters in-game based on the recent CryENGINE 3 demonstration is mind-blowing. Check out this recent CryENGINE 3 trailer demonstration which looks ridiculous;

The amazing all-in-one development tool known as CryENGINE 3 has finally been released for all professional developers and based on what has been already shown, this things packs an insane graphical punch.

Other than the tech-demos that have been shown no real future releases have been demonstrated, however with development time taking sometimes 2-4 years for most robust titles let’s hope some form of development utilizing the CryENGINE 3 is already underway.
