Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced an incredible, action-packed demo for the hotly anticipated free-roaming action game Just Cause 2 will release on March 4th, 2010.

Hunt down and assassinate one of the game’s 50 military colonels; devastate military bases, bio fuel chambers, government infrastructure and more; hijack tuk tuks, military 4×4s, armoured vehicles, mopeds, helicopter gunships, light aircraft, mini vans and numerous other military and civilian vehicles; freefall from desert outcrops or from burning planes at 20,000 feet; and unlock one full, multi-stage mission, traversing the mountains to a heavily fortified government radar station and ending in an unforgettable desert car chase.

“The Just Cause 2 demo is simply massive and with so much to do, the replay value is enormous,” said Lee Singleton, General Manager of Square Enix London Studios. “It’s easily one of the biggest freeroaming demos of all time and for fans of openworld games, it’s unmissable.”

As Ve3tro points out, this might be a problem for 360 owners who only have the 20GB HDD;

After installing all three discs the total amount of space used up was 18.3GB’s, so it’s bad news for the (Arcade) 20GB owners. Even though the 20GB seems like it would meet requirements, the Xbox 360’s memory system actually reserves approximately 6GB of space for caching, backwards-compatibility and other game elements leaving you with roughly 14GB to play with.

The amazingly talented developing house known as RockSteady Studios that brought us the greatest superhero video game known to man has now been acquired by Warner Bros.

There simply is no denying the unique gameplay experience offered in BATMAN: Arkham Asylum which has gone on to received industry acclaim and sell more than 3 million copies worldwide, so with that said this acquisition was really only a matter of time.

EA has recently announced the all-new Army of Two: The 40th Day DLC which will be available April 1. This new DLC pack codenamed “Chapters Of Deceit” contains two campaign maps where players are once again thrown into the grinder trying to unravel key intel that could lead to the ending of the 40th Day initiative. The DLC will be obtainable via Xbox 360 and PS3 for 800 point and $9.99, respectively.

Aliens vs Predator has apparently come out of it release gate sprinting as SEGA has announced via their twitter account that the game has already become the fastest selling game of 2010, in the UK thus far.

2K Games announced today an aggressive post-launch downloadable content plan for BioShock 2 that extends and enhances the single and multiplayer experiences by adding more glimpses into the award-winning world of Rapture. Downloadable content will be made available soon, beginning with the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, available this March from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows–LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points and from the PlayStation Network for £3.19. Future expansions into the world of BioShock 2 are slated to arrive over the coming months and will continue to expand on the stories of the denizens of Rapture.

“The fans who waited in the snow, rain and cold for the midnight launch of BioShock 2 have spoken and their message is that Rapture still has many fascinating stories to tell,”said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “Downloadable content is a key part of our efforts to continue to entice the fans that have made 2K a household name – we intend to deliver single and multiplayer content that respects and expands upon one of the greatest fictional worlds ever created.”

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 which releases next month from EA/DICE for both Xbox 360 and PS3 is coming along extremely well as this latest single-player campaign footage has us growing increasingly impatient.
